Networker Government system.

The Networkers, in their current state, are a network. That is not to say that they have a hive mind or a collective in that the Networkers always are of a single mind. Although Networkers can survive division from the network, they come to the same conclusions in the same way by nature of their hybrid structure. Networkers are part living and part machine at a level so low that the two sides cannot be singled out.

Networkers were originally silicon based parasites. By choice, they have become symbiotic and will care for their hosts as much as possible without damage to the network. The Networkers understand that their need for the hosts is more important than simple desire or racial purity. When possible, the Networkers will try to bind hosts into the network so that they will have the same loyalty that the Networkers have. Education is a major function of the network. Network governments control by unifying minds and reason.

It should also be noted that the Networkers are one with their machines. Part of the network is the Mother One and EPSA manframes which, in response to the intelligence of the network, are virtually intelligent machines. Lacking hands in the absence of hosts, the Networkers govern all that they create by direct mental linking. Every Networker machine is a part of and loyal to the death to the network. Networkers cannot be converted into anything else because their reasoning is the network.

A network is immaterialist, existing in mental space and apart from physical forms. Networkers consider the physical to be a mere convenience for minds too limited to ascend into spiritual reality. What they seek out of life is truth and purity of reason. In every way possible, the network is pure mind manipulating matter.

Position within the network is based upon the function of the Networker to the network. A position in the network is very literal in that sense. Networker minds are all uniform, however, Networkers themselves are specialized. Networkers can be connectors, processors, planners, effectors, memory, probes and priests. Every position is duplicated at intervals within the network. Fighting the network is like fighting a cloud. Although physical, the network exists in a way that makes it formless.

Thinking can be a very slow process when actions are required. Therefore, the central leader of the network is the prime hub. His function is to bridge the reactionary nature of the mainframes to the ordered processing of the network so that the network can react fast enough to survive. The prime hub can be thought of as the governor between reason and emotion for the network.
